What is Tolland County 4-H S.E.C.T. Food Revolution?
S.E.C.T. (science, engineering, and computer technology) Food Revolution is a new program for youth ages 12-13. Participants in this new program will accompany the age 7-11 4-H Food Revolution program in making morning snack, lunch, and participating in afternoon outdoor activities, however they will have morning activities unique to this program that will focus on S.E.C.T. concepts and leadership development. S.E.C.T Food Revolution will run the same week, July 15th-18th, and registration forms are due next Monday, July 8th!
Registration forms for S.E.C.T. Food Revolution can be found here, along with 7-11 participant registration forms and applications to be a counselor or C.I.T! All registration forms are due Monday, July 8th to the Tolland County 4-H office at 24 Hyde Avenue Vernon, CT. Forms may be mailed or dropped off.
S.E.C.T. Food Revolution was inspired by the many 4-H families that have shown their continued support for the Food Revolution program throughout the years it has been running. Without your support and interest, S.E.C.T. Food Revolution would not be possible! We are so excited to start this program with the youth that have faithfully attended Food Revolution for years, and we can’t wait to see how they will continue to inspire us to grow and develop the program in the future! From all your Tolland County 4-H Food Revolution friends – Thank you!
